Hi, Is epiPen appropriate for laryngeal spasm? Both my husb. & I suffer from freq., sometimes severe laryn. spasm. I m a nurse so I am sure & my husb. has been worked up for it: no suggestions. I have asthma, husb. copd, albuterol on hand, but we can t breath enuf to use during spasm..

Hello..
Epinephrine(epipen) is useful for severe attacks of asthama or copd..
It has lot of sideeffects like
Palpitations
tachycardia
Arrhythmias etc
It has to be used only when B2 agonists are not effective to avoid sideeffects..
Tale the opinion of your treating doctor before starting..
