i can't hear with my right ear properly. so ENT doctor gave me Esfolin plus and told me to do 6 weeks course. ITS been 2 weeks..there is no improvement. but i have been having headache sine 2 days..is it due to this tablet..should i continue the course.
Understanding your concern. As per your have difficulty in hearing which can be due to eustachian tube dysfunction , wax build up , ear infection or age related hearing loss. Eustachian tube is a small tube that connects middle ear to oral cavity and balance the pressure between the two . Eustachian tube dysfunction occurs due to mucous produced by infections like upper respiratory track infection , post nasal drip and sinusitis , Specially when these infection left untreated . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. You should maintain proper cleanliness. Your doctor will examine your ear canals and eardrums, and your nasal passages and the back of your throat. Doctor may recommend you few exercises like blowing air with closed nose and mouth ,swallowing, yawning or chewing gum . Doctor may also prescribe decongestant to reduce the swelling of the lining of the tubes , antihistamine and antibiotics. Doctor may also remove wax from ear and apply warm compresses to external ear.
