Hi. My mother is 77. She is has had symptoms of nausea and belching in the early mornings and some discomfort in the stomach though this isn t at all severe and is only occasional. She has been prescribed Gaviscon. She doesn t take any other medication. The Gaviscon hasn t helped the symptoms which have been going on for three weeks+ now. The doctor suggested a bladder infection and antibotics. The second prescribed the Gaviscon. My mother had bowel cancer six years ago. Otherwise, my mother is healthy, very active and happy. I m thinking that her symptoms may be related to the gall bladder. What do you think and what is your advice.
