Hello Doctor good day, i'm taking gemer p2 since last 6 months twice a day, but taking two tablets per day my sugar level falled to 50 mg/dl and BP falled to sys-100/dia-59.when I went to doctor my blood sugar level was 300mg/dl and bp was normal 125/80. Is this medicine still suitable for me? or better to change the medicine or what else to do????
Hello there, I understand your concern about your fluctuating blood sugar levels. Gemer P2 is a combination of 3 medicines. Your blood sugar levels were either too low at 50mg/dl or too high at 300mg/dl. Now when you did the testing in relation to food is another important information I would like to know. Fasting values are lower and after a meal sugars will go up. Time after a meal also determines the level. Now a thorough examination is required to find out the cause of this fluctuation. Do visit a diabetologist who can conduct a thorough exam and find out the reason why sugars are erratic. You may need to get a kidney function test and average blood sugar test called HbA1c to know your control for the last 3 months. These tests can be a guide to decide whether you should continue on the same medicines or change medicines. Till then continue diet restrictions and exercise as this will keep sugars in control. Hope this helps. Take care.
