Is Gemfibrozil Safe To Be Taken In A Habitual Marijuana Smoker?
I smoke a large amount of marijuana daily after work. On non-work days, I smoke it all day long. I have recently been prescribed gemfibrozil, and today is my time time taking it. Are there any potential known negative interactions between the two drugs? (Also, on a side note, I seem to feel a much lessened psychoactive effect from the marijuana today.)Thank you,John

You can safely take gemfibrozil. It won’t interact with marijuana and does not cause any adverse effects. We will not encourage the use of marijuana as it will definitely harm your health.
