Is Gestrenol Tablet Used To Regularize Period?

Hi I am shomzee. Is Gestrenol tablet used to regularize period? I have hormone disorder and irregular period. Trying to conceive. Under treatment. I have been given Gestrenol tablet from Day 16-25 of my menstruation cycle. My doctor also gave me Tab letrol (2.5 mg) from Day 3-Day 7 of my cycle.

Gestrenol contains 'Allylestrenol', which is a synthetic steroid with progestational activity.
It is indicated to be used for miscarriage prevention and prevention of premature labour. It has also been investigated for possible use in men for treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Letrol contains 'Letrozole', which is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by reducing the total amount of estrogen produced primarily in the body.
Combination of these two drugs would help to regularize your periods and improve the chances of conception.
Kindly take the medications as advised.
