Is Glycomet Advisable For High Blood Sugar Levels?

I am 60 years male,my blood suger level is fasting 140 and post is 166 ,as the doctor advice taking glycomet 500mg SR ,morning and evening 1/2 an hour before meals.I have no other deceases.
is it can continue ?,any side effect on this medicine
or any alternate medicine

Glycomet is the right medicine for high blood sugars. Glycomet SR has much less side effect that most of the time you won't notice any. You can take this medicine as this is a time tested medicine for diabetes.
