Is Glycomet Only Medication For Fluctuating Sugar Levels?
Hello Doc Dr. L K Shankdhar. I am Prashant from delhi I am diabetic. My fasting level generally used to be vary between 110-120. I am taking glycomet gp1 2 tab/day 1 each morning and evening. My question to you is glycomet gp1 alone is sufficient or I should take any thing else along with it? and does it have any effect over kidneys? if yes what?
The fasting blood sugar goals are 70 to 130 mg/dl and the 2 hour goals are less than 180 mg/dl.
Your fasting levels are currently within range. You can check your 2 hour post meal and other premeal values to see if these are also within the normal range.
If they are all currently in range then the medication does not need to be altered.
I hope this helps
