Is Gupisone Safe While Trying For Pregnancy?

hi 3 times abortions regarding to antiphospholipid syndrome.. I use to gupison tablet 20 mg for month because of hand allergy now I would like to give another pregnancy try.. however Is it safe to be pregnant after take gupison and Is it safe to continue using gupison during pregnancy is it any other alternative medication for gupison during pregnancy?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Gupison contains active form of Prednisone. According to FDA it belongs to category C drugs in pregnancy. Which means animal studies have shown few side effects like cleft palate in foetus but sufficient human studies are lacking to come to an conclusion.
It should be used only when benefits overweight the risks.
If allergy subsides you can stop Gupison with your doctor's advice.
Low molecular weight heparin is better alternative for anti-phospholipid syndrome in pregnancy.
So, please discuss these things with your doctor and proceed accordingly.
