Is HPT Recommended Due To Back Ache, Excess Saliva With Umbilicus Discomfort?

Hi Thank you in advance. I am 32 years old and do not use any contraceptives. My husband and I had sex during the end of my fertile week. Of course I wasn t expecting to be pregnant as we have been trying for 5 years and have failed. My cycle varies from 25 days to 28 days hence an average of 26 days and can last from 5 days to 7 days. This month I was 3 days late (which is still acceptable as I have 3 days range). I didn t take a hpt as I wasn t expecting anything. However my periods after the 3 days came and lasted only 2 days. It was very thick but scanty. Almost like the mucus when you have a runny nose. After the 5 years of trying I have been too heart broken with negative hpt and would not like to see another one. However I do have the following A) had no pms symptoms usually I have a horrible back ache for a day before my period. This time it lasted 10 minutes and hardly what you would call an ache B) excess saliva C) a strange pinching feeling behind my belly button..it more amusing than painful D) wake up hungry I have no fever, no morning sickness, no sore breasts, no cramps, no vivid dreams, smell, food aversions or craving, etc. I have none of the symptoms any of the ladies talk about. However deep down I feel I am not my usual self. Would you recommend a hpt? Thank you.

Hi. It is not neccessary to have all the signs you mentioned, to be pregnant. Some women have morning sickness, but the others not. The hemorrhage you describedmay be the moment of implantation. I think that everytime you have a delay of 2 days, you should have a pregnancy test. Always.
