Hello, I m French , so may you excuse me for mistakes. My father in law (80 years old) is carrying HPV and has to be operate about that. My husband visit him often and I m anxious about the transmission of the virus because his house is not very clean, I had 10 year ago a cervix surgery and I m just right now ( this last summer) be operated for a breast cancer, and I think my immun system is not really at the top . So what can we do to be sure not to have HPV , my husband and I ? Thanks
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care magic.i have gone through your question and understood your problem. the risk is not known exactly because there are no tests for men to check for HPV status. However, hpv is easily transmitted through vaginal as well as anal sex. The risk is more if there are visible lesions but since hpv can also be present asymptomatically in those who have it, therefore transmission can occur.if u want to be sure consult your doctor for further tests. Hope I have answered your query. If you like my answers and wish me to answer in future, bring it to my attention
