Is Ibuprofen Safe To Be Taken For Abdominal Pain While On Magnesium Citrate?
I went to urgent care last night 5:30-7:30 because of lower abdominal pain, they took an x-ray which showed a large amount of stool within the ascending colon. They did a CBC with Auto Differential & Comprehensive Metabolic Panel. They told me to get magnesium citrate and drink 1/2 the bottle, which I did and if I didn t have a BM they said to drink the other 1/2 bottle. My question is how long do I wait to drink the other 1/2 bottle of mag. citrate? The pain is still there this afternoon, although it helps the pain if I take ibuprophen

If pain is became severe after drinking magnesium citrate with out passing stools please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
