Is Ibuprofen Safe To Take For Pain While On Naproxen And Metaxalone?

I was just prescribed both naproxen (2x daily) and metaxalone 800mg (every 8 hours as needed) I took both about 4.5 hour ago and am having pain... Can I take ibuprofen or Tylenol or anything in between util the 8 hours when I can take another dose of metaxalone again?

Hello there I have read through your question and would like to inform you that Metaxalone is a muscle relaxant and Naproxen is an antiinflammatory. Ibuprofen is also an antiinflammatory. Since you have already been prescribed with an antiinflammatory which you are taking twice in a day I don't think you need to take Ibuprofen at the same time. If you are not relieved with the dose prescribed by your physician you may consult your physician regarding increase of dose or change of medication. I hope that answers your question.
