Hi! I have Addison s Disease, Seizure disorder, coronary artery disease, a brain scar, fibromyalgia, tinnitis, osteopenia and osteoporisis, and quite a few other problems. My steroids are eating my stomach lining and I don t know what to do about that - and also, with someone like me, is the Keto Diet safe for me? (I don t do dairy, eggs, or tofu - sensitivities)

Hi,

In keto diet your putting your body under ketosis to reduce your fat levels in the body. It is possible that low carb diet may induce the signal from brain to utilize fat lead to fat reduction.

But steroids may cause anabolic effects and water retention and fat retention weight gain. All act as a reverse manner.

Do consult your physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
