Hi Dr , I am 33 years old and recently I found that I am suffering from pcod....I have not got the periods from last 45 days. So as Dr suggested I started taking Krimson 35 . ? Will there be any side effects . after 21 days will get the periods regularly
Hello dear Understand your concern Yes Krimson 35 is effective medicine for PCOD to regularize the period. But remember, it should be taken for 6 months to regularize the period. Short course of krimson cause recurrence of PCOD symptoms and delayed period due to re bounce effect of androgen. Following side effects occurs: nausea, breast tenderness,engorgement,headache, mood swings, decrease libido etc.
Also take other advice for PCOS treatment: Metformin: for maintain glucose homeostasis and weight, induce ovulation Spironolactone and fulatamide: diuretic action and also induce ovulation Clomiphene citrate to induce ovulation and maintain fertility Diet: take small frequent meal rather large meal Avoid fatty/spicy/salty foods Avoid excessive sweets Start regular exercise for 45-60 minutes in the morning. (reduce 10 percent weight induce ovulation)
