Hello and welcome,
I can understand wanting to lose weight before
pregnancy. I looked up Magrim Diet formulas. Please know that I am not opposed to alternative medicine and supplements but there are some things about this product that concern me.
1. It does not specify the amount of caffeine in it and two of the herbs in it - Kola and Guarana - may contain caffeine.
2. It contains Trigonella Foenum. This is sometimes used to increase the appetite of people suffering from
anorexia. So the reason for it's inclusion in this preparation is unclear to me.
3. It is formulated in China, and there has been some concern about supplements from China containing contaminants such as heavy metals.
If you came to see me at my office (or if it were me), I would be hesitant to try it for
weight loss, and in particular, around the time of conception.
For long term weight loss, it is better to manage weight with lifestyle changes. Especially before getting pregnant, I'm sure you'd agree that you'd want your body to be as clean (toxin free) and overall healthy as possible.
So consider cutting out or reducing any sugars if you eat/drink them (for example sodas and juice), reduce refined (white flour) carbohydrates and replace them with (less processed) complex carbohydrates and increase your intake of vegetables.
I hope this information helps. Good luck in your new venture.
