Is Mebex Suspension Safe To Be Given To 10 Month Old Child As She Has Stopped Eating Solid Foods After Been Diagnosed With Urine Infection ?

Hi, My 10-month Old Daughter stopped taking solid food since 2 days. He is taking solid foods regularly, but not gaining weight at all, now she has stopped taking solid foods also. My Doctor advised to give Mebex suspension, but is that safe. She was recently(1.5 months ago) diagnosed with Urine Infection , after which she lost interest in eating food. Pl. suggest

Yes, Mebex suspension is safe. Please give it to your daughter.

Urinary infections are common in babies in their first year. Do not panic. She will regain her interest and start eating food normally again.

hi welcome to hcm.see don't be too much worried about weight of child as he active then no need to worry at the question of his health it become when he grows.you have to give him liquids in form of juices,semisolid food.and wait for few more days .if he having any abnormal symptoms then concern pediatric for that.ya its completely safe to give him mebex sus.
