Is Meclizine Tablet The Right Medicine For Vertigo?
I start to black out and then I hold still and it stops. Is it vertigo I take meclizine but I pill does not help and sometimes I take 2 .Could it be my heart? I had a heart attack before in 2005 I have 8 stints some are replacements. I don t want another.

The cause can be
a. Arrhythmia
b. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo
c. Internal ear problem
d. Stroke
e. Vestibular neuronitis
f. Electrolyte imbalance
Advice
1. Take bed rest for few days
2. Cinnarizine (tablet Vertigon) 25 mg when you feel dizzines
3. Investigations
a. ECG
b. Serum sodium & potassium
c. Blood sugar (F & PP)
d. MRI of brain
Consult your cardiologist for further management
