Is Medroxyprogesterone The Right Medicine For Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding?
My menstrual cycle has been on since December 22, 2016. My GYN placed me on Taytulla along with my primary birth control Mononessa. That slowed down the clots as well as the cycle but it never stopped the bleeding. Now. My GYN wants to try Medroxyprogesterone along with Mononessa. What should I do besides have faith in mhy higher power whom I choose to call God?
Medroxyprogesterone is usually given for abnormal bleeding and is quite effective also. But it will take a little bit longer time for complete recovery. If the bleeding is profuse you can take a tranexamic acid tablet to control bleeding. Nothing much to worry and your treatment is on the right track.
