Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. At your age, due to hormone imbalance, it is possible for abnormal menstrual pattern to creep in. Meprate is often useful to regulate the endometrial thickness and also the menstrual cycle. The usual side effects of hormones are observed. They include nausea, gastritis, breast engorgement and tenderness, breakthrough bleeding, headaches and so on. The other alternative is to go for the insertion of the Mirena IUD. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle and follow your doctor's advice. Hysterectomy is considered the last resort when all the methods fail and you have extreme discomfort. Hope this helps.
