Hello,
In PCOD, insulin resistance is often an associated problem and Metformin is given to counter this. Spontaneous ovulation can be expected with Metformin regime alone when there are no other contributing factors. You also have hypothyroid state which needs to be treated and obesity which needs to be controlled. This is perhaps the reason why you have the menstrual disturbance. You can supplement progesterone for a couple of courses after consulting your health care provider. Please maintain a healthy diet, healthy weight and regular exercise. Hope this helps.
