my wife had last menstural period on 2nd may 2010,and i was using codoms bt on 13th may condom burst, she didnt had her nex period til 5th june, we did pregnancy test & it was +ve we dont want to continue this pregnancy as we alredy have 3 kids,bt no doc agreed here to abort.then my wife took methotrexate injection 100 mg given by midwife.she didnt blid til nw.wt do u sugest

If I am understanding your question correctly, you are asking what medication is best for causing an elective abortion. At my institution (we don't do elective abortions, only medically indicated), we use Cytotec if the pregnancy is inside the uterus. We use methotrexate mostly for ectopic pregnancies. Methotrexate can theoretically be used for elective terminations, but the side effects are potentially much worse than those for Cytotec. Cytotec may be the better option if you are still wanting to end the pregnancy.
