Is Mifty Pill Kit Effective To Abort Unwanted Pregnancy?
Hi my girl frn is pregnant and confirmed by checkin with pregnancy kit and its positive. Its been 1 month she got her periods. I bought her Mifty pill kit pls sugget if it can stop pregnancy and if so hoe long it may take to gt her periods?? Pls suggest

Mifty kit comprises of Tab. Mifepristone and Tab. Misoprostol. The former is to be followed by later within 24-48 hours. These medicines can effectively terminate the pregnancy up to 9 weeks of duration. However these medicines should be taken by Gynaecologist's advice to avoid any complications like excessive bleeding, incomplete abortion, etc. .
After the consumption of Misoprostol component, the termination process starts usually after 24 hours, however in some cases it has been observed to start any time up to 7 days. It is advisable to confirm the completion of abortion by ultrasonography if the bleeding does not stop within reasonable time. If it abortion process not start by 7 days, it is advisable to report to the Gynaecologist.
These medicines can cause abnormal development of the baby if they fail to abort. Hence, in case of failure of these medicines to terminate the pregnancy, pregnancy should be terminated by surgical evacuation of the uterus. It is not advisable to continue the pregnancy after failure of this regime.
