age: 40 ht: 169 wt: 75Kgs, I am getting treatment from Dr Narendra Patwardhan in poona, earlier I used trigaine 12.5% with no positive effect for 6 months along with tricovit 10mg.....now after getting no results the doctor suggested MORR F 7.5% with adgain capsules...will it be effective... thanks
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. Trigaine and Morr F contain Minoxidil. However, Morr F also has topical finasteride along with minoxidil. Topical finasteride is not US-FDA approved for use in baldness and there is not much research/literature regarding its efficacy in treating baldness. I would suggest that if minoxidil alone has not given good results even after using for 6 months, you could add on oral finasteride 1 mg once a day. This has to be taken only under the guidance of a dermatologist. Tricovit and adgain both contain vitamin supplements for your hair and it does not matter which one you take. Hope this answers your query. Take care.
