Is Motrin Recommended In Case Of Increased Temperature In An Infant?

My 23 month old was fine all day. We were outside and it was warm so I thought she just got over heated but she feels really warm But rectal temp is 101.. She wanted to only go to sleep and lay down.. Gave her Motrin. Could it be teeth? She wS drooling more today?

Hello. I just read through your question. Using motrin to treat a fever of 101 is fine. This could be teething, as you suggest. However, if the fever persists beyond 2-3 days, I recommend consulting with your doctor to make sure nothing else is going on.
