Is Narcan The Right Medicine For Severe Itchiness All Over The Body?
Hi I have been experiencing severe itching. I am not taking any new medications but am scratching uncontrollably. I have tried allergy medications with a decondgestant trying to see if this would help but so far, four days I am still miserable. I am allergic to Benadryl. I have tried ibuprofen and tons of moisturizers. I feel like I need medical attention but as a cancer survivor with a ton of medical problems I would like to narrow the scope. I remember some years ago Narcan was given to me for severe itching from a medicine I was allergic to. Is that the trype of drug that could help. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks Patty

Hi, antihistamines just relieve the itching temporarily but don't alleviate the cause.
Going by ur intensity of itching and a short history, i would like to keep a possibility of scabies, which is an ectoparasitic infestation.
Apply HH Mite cream (5% permethrin 30 g) all over the body below jawline at evening, making sure that u have covered axilla, finger webs, soles, genitalia also, use entire 30 g pack in a single sitting..Wash after 12 hrs (next day morning)....Do the same after 7 days (total 2 applications)
Wash all clothes, beddings used in the last 7 days
Take tab cetrizine 10 mg at bedtime for 10 days
treatment of all coresidents whether or not they have symptoms with HH Mite cream as advised.
Review after 2 weeks
