Is Neotrexate The Right Medicine For Psoriasis?

My husband suffers from foot psoriasis..his Dr. Advised neotrexate and folvite..in de year 2016...he was unable to continue wit de medications cos of shortage of de medicines.....he still suffers from the same...just wanted to know if I could start giving him his medicines again

As per your case history of psoriasis, my treatment advice is -

1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a clobetasaol plus salicylic acid cream like clovate-sl twice a day. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Neotrexate can be taken for psoriasis but only after relevant investigations and consulting a dermatologist.
