Is Nodosis Prescribed For Kidney Problem?

my mother s a diabetic patient sne 8 yrs,now a days she s continuously suffering with UTI, and her creatine and urea accordingly 1.6mg/dl,and 60 mg/dl,doctor prescribed tab. nodosis for her,did she have any kidney problem?why doctor prescribed this medicine?

I appreciate your concern for your mother.
She has mild diabetic nephropathy with decreased renal functions.
The exact level can be determined by doing a creatinine clearance .
Sodium bicarbonate is to neutralise the acid that may accumulate in the blood.
