Is Norvasc Safe To Be Taken While On Furosemide And Lopressor?

Norvasc 5mg has been added to what is already taken benicar 40 mg / furosemide 20 mg / lopressor 150 mg twice a day Plus 8 other medications. Really am afraid of the side effects.Ihave not taken the Imdur for a month since put on the Benicar am I suppose to take all was not told to replace but to add go regimen already on thank you Jo ann) / lopressor 3 50mg tablets twice a day / furosdmide 20 mg

Hi,

Yes, you may have benicar in addition to medicines which you are already having. Your must have added due to elevated bp or some cardiac dysfunction, which would need the medicines and benefit will be more than side effects. We commonly use this and most of the patients tolerate it well.
