Is Nutralite Supplement Good Diet For Type 1 Diabetic?
Hi!My name is Malini, 36yrs old. I am a type 1 diabetic on 38+40 units per day. my height is 5.3 " and weight 64kgs. always on lower side of hemoglobin. from 20days i am on nutralite (daily tab 1 in the mrng, Iron tab 1 in the noon after lunch and calcium 1 in the night post dinner.. is this supplements ok for my health? pls confirm
Dear madam, welcome .. I appreciate your concern .. Wat ever supplementation s you are taking it is good and benificial for your health. But remember that ty can't replace the insulin .. U have to take insulin of course along with that it is good to take nutrition al supplements even calcium and iron at this age... Remember these are artificial nutritional supplements ... It is best to have in natural way like consuming green leafy leafy vegetables ,milletes fruits and oat s .. Ragi is rich in calcium .. Dry fruits. Nuts etc.. Please check ur HbA1c and microalbumin uria on urine and do contact me .. Thank you ...
Hello madam... good to see that you are on insulin plus nutritional supplements... these nutritional supplements definitely help you in controlling the glucose levels... BUT NEVER STOP INSULIN INJ.. you may get these required nutritional supplements in green leafy vegetables, fruits,milers, fish/egg/nuts etc.. pls try and take these food sources rich in the req nutrients rather taking in tablet form for long duration.. any way nothing harm .. do exercise and relax yourself with walking/yoga/ALL THE BEST.. do check your HbA1c, and miicroalbuminuria and contact me again ...
