Is Otitis Media, Related With Ear Buzzing And Sweating Chills?
I was diagnosed in ER with Otitis Media in my left ear. I have been on antibiotics off and on since June of this summer. Same diagnosis with also bacteria in prostate back in June I have a dead left ear. I also have acid reflux very severe on occasion when I eat late. Why do I keep getting this back and could this be a misdiagnosis. It starts with deep buzz in ear sweating chills graduates with cough, pain in chest and back of chest severe tounge burning sensation and wheezing
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood the history. It is co-incidental that the organisms that caused otitis media on the left side are also responsible for prostatitis. Both are the sites know to be a close cavity infection sites and can give infection at distant places as the pus can be under pressure and the bacteria can travel through the blood stream to other parts. Incidentally you have acid reflux. There can not be misdiagnosis.
The start with deep buzz in ear sweating chills graduates with cough, pain in chest and back of chest severe tongue burning sensation and wheezing is indicating that you have a mastoid problem and that can be diagnosed on CT scan of the mastoids.
