Is PCOD Curable And Should I Take Medicine Life Long?

Hi doctor,
I am 29 years old, mother of 2 yrs old. I am taking krimson35 as got detected with PCOD. My doctor said to take it for 3 months. It's my first cycle completed, but did not get periods, what should I do?
Is it a treatable disease or I will always have to take medication?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

PCOD is a little tricky, it depends on many factors. What is your current weight? Other abnormalities like thyroid disorder or insulin resistance etc., also are associated with this. Usually PCOS if treated correctly is possible to remit in 8-10 months of treatment. However, it still depends as all patients are different and react differently.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
