Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Prednisolone is a steroid and I don't advise it for any pink eye . if you have conjunctivitis then it might increase the viral shedding in your eye for a long time . it can also cause increased eye pressure . I would advise you to have a slit lamp examination at your ophthalmologist and then take the drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
