dear patient.according to me your doctor advised correctly to shift to prednisone/revlimid treatment because of following reasons.
1.first of all it has fewer side effects than your current treatment.
2.recent research has indicated significant increase in wbcs and platelet counts.improvement in immunity and healing.
3.improvement in anemia.
4.decrease in size of spleen which is the good indicator for outcome of MF
5.plus i would also recommend to continue procrit injections.
hope i have helped you in your question. take care.
