Is Progestreone Safe For Ovarian Cyst Treatment?

Hi Doc
I am 35 years old and am late on my periods by 3 weeks. got a USG done and there is acyst in right ovary 30x 20 mm size. is it risky? i have been prescribed progestreone for 5 days and ovral for 21 days once i get my periods. hope thats fine!

The treatment given to you is very appropriate. You can just ignore the cyst. It might not even be there after your periods. So just follow the instructions and you should be fine. Absolutely no risk.
