My dr. just prescribed Prolia and is now doing the preliminary work up. In checking out this product on line, I am nearly convinced this is not for me. I am a 90 year - active female - attend fitness center 1-3/4 hr. 3 to 4 times a week - primarily doing bicycle, treadmill, adductors, abductors - arm pulls. Dr. just suggested i do 20 minutes daily of walking. Last years same recommendation of product. Today s density of left arm and left hip showed about a 1% bone loss and was told unless I go on this program, I could die in 1 yr of bone loss, etc. This seems radical and attempt to scare me into acceptance.
