Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern for the efficacy of Razo-D.
Razo-D tablet contains two medicines
Rabeprazole & Domperidone and is commonly prescribed to treat acidity related stomach problems like gastritis, ulcer or reflux disease.
Since you have already undergone endoscopic examination and suspected infection
Helicobacter pylori to be responsible for causing the
stomach ulcer then you will be prescribed two antibiotics (
Amoxicillin &
Clarithromycin) for two weeks along with Razo-D. Then after 2 weeks of treatment, Razo-D alone should be continued for at least 4 weeks for maximum benefits.
Besides the prescribed medications, you must avoid taking hot and spicy foods, smoking, alcohol, fatty meals, etc. Eat home cooked food, increase the intake of fruits and vegetables and do regular exercise.
Hope this information helps you.
