Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Unprotected sex is a risk factor for all STD's including herpes,
gonorrhea, chlamydia,
HIV, genital warts.
Purulent Urethral discharge is a sign of Gonorrhea.
Incubation period is short (2-5 days); there is associated burning sensation and pain on passing urine. Smear made from discharge would reveal gram -ve dipplococci, which is diagnostic.
Blisters or sores on genitalia following unprotected sex are indicative of
Genital herpes. These are usually multiple, well defined, discrete, painful and are easy to diagnose on physical examination. PCR may be ordered for a confirmatory diagnosis
I suggest you to visit a sexual health specialist for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate treatment.
Testing for other STD;'s like
Syphilis, HIV is also recommended.
Regards
Always practice safe sex with a condom!
