Is Sazo Effective Alone For HLA-B27 Positive Uveitis Or Should Other Medication Be Added?

Hi, I am hla b27 positive and taking sazo 1000 daily in the morning and Ccm daily in evening. Currently I am suffering from Uveitis also and taking wysolon 40 mg as prescribed by eyes doctor. Is sazo 1000 working or need to take other medicine too to reduce the effect of auto immune ?

Hi,

SAZO and Wysolone both act on auto immune disease, hence, there is no need to add autoimmune drug. If you have eye pain persistent than local eye drops which dilate the pupil need to add., your course of treatment may be longer if post part of eye is more infected.
