Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 82 years old (female), in basically good health for my age. I take gabapentin for neuropathy and Ropinirole for restless toes at night. the latter increased the depression that I have struggled with for years. My Dr prescribed Sertraline, 2h mg, but I hesitate to take it. Do you recommend it? I have read the side effects .
Hello there, well, Sertraline is an antidepressant . Taking 25mg of sertraline is an adequate dose taking your age into consideration. I recommend you take the medicine as per your psychiatrists advise.
