Is Soliwax Only Way To Remove The Cotton Stuck In Ear?
I have put cotton in my ear 3 days back while going for bath. Earlier I thought it will come out with match stick but it didn't. Later I couldn't go to docotor due my office schedule. Today I went to the doctor he gave me Soliwax to remove the cotton which has stuck inside my ear. But I am not sure if it will be removed with this fluid. Please suggest me any alternative way to remove the cotton.
2. An ENT Specialist will be able to easily remove the cotton, either with a headlight, otoscope or under a microscope. Syringing the ear for a cotton foreign body is not an easy option.
3. To avoid injury or to avoid the cotton being pushed deeper into the external ear canal, do not try to remove it yourself. Allow only an ENT Specialist to attempt to remove it. This will be the safest alternative.
4. Get this done soon to avoid infection setting in.
Regards.
