I am in Laos, north of Thailand where I have little faith in the doctors or pharmacists. I have just paid for Solupred 20mg tablets for my Sinusitis. It has been ongoing for about 2/3 weeks. Any thoughts on if this is an effective drug for this ailment? Thanks you

It is a steroid is useful to reduce the inflammation of sinuses and ease the pain. But using steroid itself is not good it may lead to secondary bacterial infection and complications. Please take above medication under your doctor guidance. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Amoxiclav twice a day for five days. use decongestant medication. If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
