Is Sorbiline And Udiliv Advisable For Constipation And Indigestion?

hi, my father is 72 years old. He has constipation problem since his younger age. Now a days he has joint pain and took pain killer tablet twice and thrice times. presently, father is suffering constipation and indigestion. Doctor suggested to few blood test and after prescribed Sorbiline and Udiliv 150. I am very tense for it. pl suggest is it ok for him ?

1. Yes Sorbiline contains sorbitol, which is an osmotic laxative causing agent. He will need to take plenty of water to avoid getting dehydrated.
2. Udiliv will help in improving liver function and could also improve digestion.
3. Additionally he will require a fruit and vegetable rich diet along with digestive enzyme supplements to improve nutrition. Also probiotics will be helpful.
4. Continue all other medications with a nutritional diet. Avoid any sort of hepatotoxic agents, including alcohol or medications.
