Is Sulfatrim DS Ideal For Balanitis On The Glans?
Hello Dr Prasad, I sometimes suffer from Balanitis on the Glans (Penis). Once again I have been suffering from it for the past couple of months. I went to a Dr here in Canada( I am in Canada). She gave me SULFATRIM DS 800/160MG(SULFAMETH/TRIMETHDS) and Cream SIDIUM FUSIDATE 2% and anothr Ointment 2%HC IN NYADERM:IHLES 1:1. None of the medication has helped me. While back in India I was given Forcan 150mg and AZEE 1000. These had cured the problem. Luckily I have a dosage of these drugs with me here. I am not sure about the Dosage. I shall be grateful if you could please advice me on the dosage or any other medication that can help. My age is 59 Years. Hi,
It seems that you had fungal infection with super added bacterial infection.
If there is recurrence you can repeat the dose as you took previously.
Apply anti-fungal cream locally.
Keep local hygiene proper.
