Is T.T Injection Necessary During 5th Month Of Pregnancy?

My wife is now 20 weeks pregnant . doctor suggested her to take T.T injection in 5th month and Tiffa scanning in the first week of 6th month.
can you suggest me is it advisable to take T.T injection and Tiffa scanning should be taken in which week during pregnancy.

I understand your concern , dear TIFFA stands for targeted imaging for fetal anamolies which is usually performed at 20 to 21 weeks that is last week of fifth month and first week of sixth month to rule out congenital abnormalities , it is usually done nowadays. And two doses of tetanus toxoid 4 to 6 weeks apart should be taken before delivery preferably in second trimester that is 13 weeks to 28 weeks of gestation.
