We have an elderly friend who after haveing a bad IV start started showing a hard soft lump on the back of the hand. This lump started "spreading" to her wrist the other day. Her attending wants her tested for TB now. Does this sound like a symptom of TB?
Hi, It seems that there might be having extravasation of injecting liquid producing irritation and swelling at the site. Apply ice pack 2-3 times a days for 2-3 days. This thing has nothing to do with TB. Ok and take care.
