Is Thyronorm Effective For Hypothyroidism?
Hi doctor, I got thyroid in my pregnancy.I was taking thyrobuild n now I'm getting that.Is thyronorm is okay for the hypothyroid. And more over weight is stable from my to till date. I'm unable to reduce it.I stopped tablets for six months. Pls let me know whether hypothyroid causes weight gain.

Hypothyroidism can cause little bit of weight gain. May be 3-4 kilos. Yes, Thyronorm is good for Hypothyroidism. Better not to change brands, but to continue same brand of Thyroxine ( Thyronorm, Eltroxin) etc. You must check TSH and Free T4 and approach a doctor.
If you are hypothyroid, you may lose some weight after starting treatment.
