Is Tobramycin Equal To Ciprodex Otic Suspension In Efficacy?
My doctor originally prescribed Ciprodex Otic Suspension for my ear infection. However, ,this was quit a pricy script. I asked if they could change the medication to something a bit easier on my wallet. He changed it to Tobomysin.(not sure if this is spelled correctly?) Is this as good as the original one prescribed?

Ciprodex otic contains ciprofloxacin + dexamethasone,
I think you meant Tobradex , which has Tobramycin and dexamethasone.
Both have a potent antibiotic and a steroid, which would reduce you infection and inflammation.
Nothing to worry , please continue taking it as your doctor says.
