Hi ,I suffer from migraines on occasion ..it first starts with no warning ,just a zig zag light in my eyes ..then about half hour later the severe pain ..I find the pain intolerable ..is it okay to take a sleeping pill with some Tylenol ? It helps me sleep ,so I don t have to deal with the terrible pain...

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Migraine has two steps of therapy. One is preventive by taking medications like metaprolol or anti depressants like amitryptilline or SSRIs. Another one is pain management while migraine attack.
