Is Voglistar Safe And Effective In Treatment For Uncontrolled Diabetes?

Dear Doctor, Since five days my sugar levels were fluctuating , like 160,175, 155, 175 (fasting) & and 'PP' Values are 230,260,270.Present i am taking medicine "GLIMIPREX" (1/500 mg). One of my Doctor was suggested the medicine....i.e "VOGLISTAR" GM2. Is it safe.....? Present my sugar levels are not controlled by "GLIMIPREX". Please Suggest the Suggestion.

hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The sugar levels you have mentioned are higher than normal. when such thing happens like after a time when the levels become uncontrolled with the present drug, either the dose is increased or a new drug is added to the present drug. Now the addition of new drug voglibose is such a thing. It adds the antidiabetic effect. so, you need not worry. It works and safe.
